(Note – The 2020 racing schedule has been seriously affected by the COVID-19 pandemic)

ChampCar is for people that have always wanted to go racing without all of the hassles, huge rulebooks, or obscene expense. All that is required is a current driver’s license, ChampCar club membership, some safety equipment, and a need to go wheel to wheel racing!

ChampCar is really easy to get started in. Everyone wants to just go build a car and go racing. Our recommendation is to volunteer to work a race and get some behind the scene view of how the cars are built, how teams are organized, and how an endurance race is done. This could save you thousands of dollars in buying unneeded gear and supplies, or even make your weekend more enjoyable by bringing the right supplies. Arrive and Drive teams will be the best bang for the buck, as all you do is show up with your racing gear and go racing. It’s great to see how an experienced team works a race, as you can learn a lot of the do’s and don’ts of endurance auto racing.
