Q.
We have been struggling with crankcase pressure / breather issues forever, along with problems of the OEM valve covers cracking and leaking. Replacement covers on EBay are $400 each and still have the problem of no venting, so we designed new valve / cam tower covers from 6061 that accommodate a 1.220" hole on each side for an alternate venting and catch can system that will hopefully eliminate the problem of blowing oil out everywhere.
Is re-routing and replacing the PCV system (the original engine didn't have one) a point charge? How about the valve covers?

There is no point charge with valve covers.
There is no point charge with crank case ventilation.
