Are there any points incurred for removing a failure-prone clutch type radiator fan and installing an aftermarket electric one? We're happy to run without a fan but it's nice to have something when sitting at pit in/out and in case of a red flag or other stopped situation.

You can convert to any type of cooling fan you desire for no point add
