VPI requests require the year, make, model, trim level, engine size, engine HP, Drive type (FWD, RWD, AWD, 4x4), auto or manual transmission, car weight, and all options. Regarding Extended Lower Ball Joints:

Both the common Miata Type (left) and Honda Type (right) were previously assigned a value of 5 points via tech desk articles 109 and 163, respectively.

 

Beginning 01Jan2022, per 2021 BOD Petition #55, these parts will be assigned a value per the BCCR, section 4.3.2, as a Camber/Caster adjustment apparatus.

The previous Tech Desk articles are hereby invalid and have been removed.
