Event Special Notices

ESN 1 - Clothing on pit lane requirements
Long pants and closed toe shoes are required on the hot and cold side of the pitlane.
ESN 2 - Waivers
All persons entering Ozarks International Raceway (“OIR”) property (the “Facility”) are required to sign appropriate OIR and Sanctioning body Release and Waiver of Liability and Indemnity Agreement Forms. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.
ESN 3 - ATV’s and Other Paddock Vehicles
The use of unlicensed vehicles such as mini-bikes, golf carts, scooters, and four wheelers shall be restricted to their use as a service vehicles for competitors and shall be used only in the paddock, on pit lane vehicle service area, on paved surfaces and only during event hours. Only licensed drivers/riders shall use such vehicles. Minors are specifically prohibited from using such vehicles in the paddock or on any of the general or public access areas. OIR reserves the right to further restrict the use of these vehicles if, in the sole discretion of OIR such use is a danger or annoyance to other persons.

Timing, Scoring, and Live Stream

Standard ChampCar Rules

ATTENTION: All vehicles, drivers, and crew must meet the safety and equipment requirements of the 2026 BCCR. Stint maximum of 2 hours per driver with a minimum of 1 hour between stints.

NOTE: Testing, tuning, brake bedding, high speed accelerations or braking will be limited to the track, and not allowed in the paddock or surrounding public roadways. Doing so could result in event expulsion with no fees returned.

All fueling is to be completed on pitlane race day. Do not store fuel in the garages.

Race Car Tech Inspection: All teams will be required to do the Online Tech Form. The team captain will log in at https://champcar.org/register/login.php to complete the race car online tech form. The Team Captain will find a button link on the main login page. Three months before the race, the tab Submit a Tech Form will take you to an electronic form that looks just like the paper Tech Inspection form. Fill in the boxes at the top, then fill in or click on the listed point value items on your car. Save the form and you are done. At the track the Tech staff will simply check the required safety items on the car. Once the Tech staff clicks save on the safety portion of your online form, you will get your annual tech sticker and head to ChampCar registration.

Please verify your timing and scoring transponder and Flagtronics FT-200 serial numbers, and make certain to add your car class to the tech form.

Flagtronics FT200 Wireless Flagging Display: Limited quantities of units may be available to rent, with preference going to teams who request a rental online. Rental fee is $50 for the event. You may purchase your own FT200 unit at https://flagtronics.com/champcar. Firmware Required: v.0.9.0.0.

Code35 will be in use at all ChampCar events. It is imperative that your FT200 unit and the GPS is mounted within the rules and that the unit is working.

Sound: Sound readings will take place throughout the weekend. All ChampCars are required to have mufflers, and not exceed 96dBa at 50ft.

Alcohol: Absolutely no alcohol may be consumed in the paddock during the day’s racing events. Alcohol may be consumed 30 minutes following the completion of on-track activity for the day.

Photo/Media Credentials: There will be a limit as to how many credentials are issued. Cut-off for event credentials is 2 weeks before event start. Please visit https://champcar.org/web/media.php.

Tech Line Requirements

  • Have all decals installed as per the BCCR. Get sponsor decal at tech.
  • Owned Flagtronics installed per BCCR and working. ChampCar will test at tech. Teams responsibility to have the correct firmware installed.
  • Owned Transponder installed and working. ChampCar will test at tech.
  • Flagtronics and Transponder rentals will be issued to teams at Tech.
  • All lights for night racing installed and working. They will be tested.
  • Electronic tech form completed.

Facility and Event Details for Ozarks International Raceway

50 Available at $125 each. Order when you enter the race.

No one is allowed access to the track after operations hours for any reason, i.e., running, walking, etc

No electricity. Limited lighting. One space per team.
Included with your race entry fee. Operators of all motor vehicles (including golf cars) must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license. At no time is anyone allowed to park in fire lanes. Violators will be towed.
Each competitor must have at least one (1) portable dry chemical fire extinguisher with a rating of at least 12BC available and in good working condition in the competitor’s pit and/or paddock area. Competitors must have fire extinguishers rated for use on the type of battery each electric vehicle uses.
No loud music or boomboxes are permitted. Paddock quiet times must be respected (10:00 pm to 6:00 am).

Paddock speed limit - 10 mph at all times

No holes or any other damage may be caused to any paved surfaces. Tents and canopies must be held down by weights, as no tent pegs of any kind are allowed. Flat blocks or wood squares should be used to absorb weight beneath any equipment that may cause damage to the surface, such as trailer legs, jack stands, kart stands, air jacks, and pump jacks.

Pit Lane Clothing - Long pants are required on the hot and cold pit lane. Closed-toe shoes are required.

All people who go over the pit wall must be full ChampCar Club Members.
Guests may purchase a weekend membership to ChampCar at the front gate for $20. 16 and under free with a parent or guardian. Children under 18 are not allowed on the cold or hot pit lane.

All minors must be under direct supervision of an adult at all times. No minor will be permitted to drive any motorized vehicle unsupervised on the property unless OIR is in possession of a professional racing license and a properly executed waiver and consent. Contact reg@champcar.org for minor waivers before the event.

No children under-18 allowed on pit road. Minors between 16 and 18 years old who are ChampCar members with a completed Minor Waiver and who are registered to participate can attend. Children must be under adult supervision at all times.

Pets are not allowed on OIR properties

When space is available, RV Parking is permitted in Paddock. RV Paddock parking must be reserved in advance. The Paddock will have restricted access between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am. RV Parking is also available in the designates RV Lot and must be reserved in advance. The RV lot will be sold on a first come first serve
basis. Details TBD.

No open campfires or barrel fires are allowed.
Only contained, manufactured barbeques and grills are permitted.

Yes. Open during event hours.

All State, County, and other regulatory liquor laws and regulations will apply. No alcoholic beverages may be consumed in the pit or paddock areas until 60 minutes after the end of the final event or track activity of each day.

None. There are currently no permanent fuel tanks on site. VP 55 Gallon barrels can be ordered 14 days in advance to be on site for the event. Contact James Pesek

Drone / UAV Prohibition
The use or operation of drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is strictly prohibited anywhere on facility grounds at all times. This applies to all participants, crew, media, and spectators. Violations may result in immediate removal from the facility and/or event expulsion without refund.

Fences: No climbing of fences.

An invoice will be sent to the team captain. Payment plans can be worked out if needed. Unpaid track damage invoices could result in a membership hold until paid. Based on 2025 CCES Contract fees. ChampCar will add a 4% processing

Hazardous Waste Products: OIR will enforce strict compliance with rules relating to waste and hazardous materials, their containment and actions required to recover
or repair surfaces affected by any spills.
At various locations in the paddocks, a number of collection facilities for used fluids and waste materials. Participants are required to make use of these for all waste materials and fluid disposal, using the appropriate receptacles (as identified on each drum).
Hazardous Material Control: Spills of damage-causing fluids such as oils, hydraulic and brake fluids, gasoline, antifreeze, battery acid, ect, may occur and can cause significant damage to paved and grass surfaces and the environment, as well as creating dangerous situations for track users and other participants. All spills must be treated immediately on occurrence. OIR management or ChampCar Staff must
immediately be advised of all spills.
Trash and Waste Disposal: All trash shall be deposited in trash containers. Do not place any petroleum products in trash containers.

Shipments: Teams that have shipments sent to the race facility should make sure that the packages are clearly marked with the individual’s name, name of the group he/she is with, cell phone number, and addressed to:
