Welcome to Lime Rock Park, one of the most historic and picturesque road courses in North America. Tucked into the hills of northwest Connecticut, Lime Rock delivers classic road racing in a beautiful New England setting. The surrounding area offers charming small towns, great local food, and scenic roads, but larger supply runs may require a bit of planning.
- Track Address: 60 White Hollow Road, Lakeville, CT 06039
- Closest Towns: Lakeville, Salisbury, Canaan, and Great Barrington, Massachusetts
- Fuel & Supplies: Basic fuel, grocery stores, pharmacies, and convenience items are available nearby, with larger shopping options a bit farther out.
- Auto Parts: Auto parts stores are available in surrounding communities, but this is not a major metro area, so plan ahead for specialty race needs.
- Food: Northwest Connecticut offers excellent local restaurants, diners, coffee shops, pizza, and New England favorites. Great Barrington is a popular spot for teams looking for dinner off property.
- Hotels: Lodging includes inns, hotels, short-term rentals, and small local properties throughout the surrounding area. Book early, especially during peak summer weekends.
- Airport Access: Bradley International (BDL), Albany (ALB), Westchester County (HPN), and Hartford-area travel options are commonly used.
- Entertainment: Scenic drives, small-town shopping, hiking, local restaurants, and classic New England countryside make Lime Rock a great destination weekend.
- Weather Tip: New England weather can shift quickly. Cool mornings, warm afternoons, humidity, and sudden showers are all part of the experience.
Local Note: Lime Rock feels different from almost every other track on the schedule. Beautiful setting, rich history, and a race weekend that feels more like an old-school motorsports getaway than a stadium event. Also, yes, the hills are real.

Race Car Tech Inspection: All teams will be required to do the Online Tech Form. The team captain will log in at https://champcar.org/register/login.php to complete the race car online tech form. The Team Captain will find a button link on the main login page. Three months before the race, the tab Submit a Tech Form will take you to an electronic form that looks just like the paper Tech Inspection form. Fill in the boxes at the top, then fill in or click on the listed point value items on your car. Save the form and you are done. At the track the Tech staff will simply check the required safety items on the car. Once the Tech staff clicks save on the safety portion of your online form, you will get your annual tech sticker and head to ChampCar registration.
Please verify your timing and scoring transponder and Flagtronics FT-200 serial numbers, and make certain to add your car class to the tech form.
