2020-03-20 - Bumper Structure Replacement

2020 requires "bash-bars" to be added if the car no longer has the OE bumper structure. When these are fabricated:

- Is there a minimum size/wall thickness required?
- Are bash-bars counted for points?
- If yes, then how are points calculated?

2020 rules require the factory bumper reinforcement bar or a roll bar minimum .095 thickness or comparable beam be used across and connecting frame horns on both the front and rear of the car. Rear must be substantially reinforced to offer adequate protection to the fuel cell or OE tank.
No point add as these are now required.
