We plan on fabricating a drop pan under the driver's seat to allow our tallest driver (6ft 3in) to get his head safely under the roll cage.
Will we take on material points for this or is it considered a safety issue?

No, we do not charge for seat mounting materials or metal around the seat. This is considered driver comfort.
