Entry Fees

ChampCar entry fees include the race car, all drivers, all crew members, and paddock space. Each driver and crew member must maintain a current ChampCar membership. All over-the-wall crew require a full annual membership.

Weekend memberships may be available for non-participating guests at select events; these do not authorize over-the-wall activities.

Test Days (HPDE)

When Test is indicated on the event schedule, the fee is included with the entry. Some venues host their own test day programs; register directly with the facility as noted in the supplemental rules.

Additional Fees

Certain venues may assess charges for gate access, camping, electric, or similar amenities. See supplemental rules for details.

Race Control Logs

Historical race control logs are maintained and updated in real time during competition.

Spectators and Guests

The ChampCar Endurance Series is organized as a social and recreational club under Internal Revenue Code §501(c)(7). Substantially all activities are conducted for those purposes, and no part of the organization’s net earnings inures to any private shareholder or individual.

Spectators are not permitted under ChampCar’s event insurance.

Weekend memberships may be available for non-participating guests at select events; availability and terms are venue dependent and may be limited to teams already registered. See supplemental rules for current policies.

2026 Event Notes

NNC: For Daytona, Watkins Glen, Mid Ohio, and Circuit of the Americas, new car builds are not allowed. Cars must complete at least one CCES or equivalent event before entering.
NND: For Daytona, Watkins Glen, Mid Ohio, and Circuit of the Americas, new drivers are not allowed. Drivers must have prior wheel-to-wheel track experience in automotive racing.
