1. How is the starting grid determined?

The championship starting grid is set by current championship point standings.
Points leader starts first, followed by second in points, third in points, and so on.

2. Where do non-championship entrants start?

All championship contenders grid at the front of the field.
All non-championship cars will be gridded behind the championship field.

3. Saturday pit lane closure and penalties

• Warning flag: 4:40 PM (pits about to close).
• Pit road closes: 4:45 PM, which is 15 minutes before the end of the day.
• Penalty after pit road closes: Any car that enters pit lane after pit road is closed must perform a drive through with no service and return to the track.
• Pit exit closes: Pit exit closes with the checkered and red flag at 5:00 PM.

4. Does pit exit stay open until the last car takes the checker?

No. Pit exit closes when the checkered and red flag are displayed at the end of the race. It does not remain open until the last car takes the checkered flag.

5. Parc Ferme and post race inspection

When instructed to report to Parc Ferme, cars must proceed directly to Parc Ferme with no stops in pit lane or paddock, and no service. Teams must follow all steward and tech instructions for post race impound and inspection.
