About the ChampCar Endurance Series

Since 2009, ChampCar has been North America’s home for real, affordable, competitive endurance road racing. We host 7 to 24 hour events at legendary tracks where everyday drivers and teams race real cars, wheel to wheel.

What is ChampCar?

The ChampCar Endurance Series is a member driven, 501(c)(7) nonprofit motorsports organization. Our mission is simple: deliver maximum seat time and competitive endurance racing with straightforward rules, fair tech, and an inclusive community.

Whether you build your own car or join an arrive and drive team, ChampCar offers the clearest path to real road racing without huge budgets.

How our events work

  • Endurance formats: Typically 7 hour, 8+7, 10 hour, 12 hour, 14 hour, and 24 hour events.
  • World class venues: Daytona, Watkins Glen, Road America, Laguna Seca, Sebring, CTMP, and more.
  • Team based racing: Multi-driver stints with live timing, race control, and on-site staff.
  • Transparent rules: The BCCR outlines car points, safety, classes, and penalties.
