4. Google Analytics and Tag Manager
ChampCar may use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use our websites, measure performance, improve page content, and evaluate public communications. These tools may collect information such as IP address, device type, browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, approximate location, and interactions with website features.
Where required by law, non-essential analytics cookies will not run until you accept analytics cookies through our cookie banner or preference tool.
5. Embedded Videos, Maps, and Motorsports Content
ChampCar websites may include embedded YouTube videos, livestreams, Google Maps, social media content, event tools, timing or scoring resources, sponsor links, and other third-party features. These services may set their own cookies or collect usage information when loaded, viewed, clicked, or played.
Third-party services control their own cookies and privacy practices. We encourage you to review their privacy and cookie disclosures when using those services.
6. Email Tracking
ChampCar may use email platforms such as Constant Contact to send newsletters, event updates, registration reminders, sponsor information, and operational communications. These platforms may use pixels, link tracking, and related technologies to measure delivery, opens, clicks, and unsubscribe activity.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages. ChampCar may still send operational, account, safety, payment, or event-related communications where necessary.
7. Your Cookie Choices
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through the ChampCar cookie banner or cookie preference tool. You may also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some website features may not work correctly if essential cookies are blocked.
Browser controls are usually available in your browser's privacy or security settings. Because settings vary by browser and device, review your browser's help documentation for instructions.
8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Signals
Some browsers or extensions send "Do Not Track" or similar signals. Because there is not one uniform industry standard for these signals, ChampCar does not currently respond to all Do Not Track signals in the same way.
Where legally required, ChampCar will make reasonable efforts to honor recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, for activities that qualify as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable law.
9. Changes to This Cookie Policy
ChampCar may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our websites after an update means the updated policy applies.
