How ChampCar.Live works

From watching the race to getting your own in-car stream on air, here is the simple version.

Watch the race

Most TireRack.com ChampCar Endurance Series races stream free on YouTube at ChampCar.Live, presented by AutoZone.

Set up your camera

Use a YouTube-friendly in-car stream with stable power, a hotspot, and clean driver identification so production can use it quickly.

Submit your feed

Send your stream and event details through the form below. The production team will include it when possible.

Keep expectations realistic

Track bandwidth, network congestion, and production limits all affect whether a feed can be used on race day.

Troubleshooting and limits

These are the issues that most often make or break an in-car feed on race day.

Troubleshooting tips
  • Lower resolution is often better. 480p is usually more reliable at many tracks.
  • Place the hotspot near the seatbelt bar and away from dash heat.
  • Use 12V power with a quality USB adapter and pre-charge hotspots.
  • Unlimited plans may still throttle after 10 to 20 GB.
  • What works in testing may change on race day as the network gets busy.
Important production limits

Streaming to YouTube or Facebook is preferred when it is non-commercial and free of ads or licensed music.

We can only support a limited number of cameras per event, and network or bandwidth issues may prevent some feeds from being used.

Add a visible nameplate in the car so production can identify drivers on air.

Note: Twitch feeds cannot be used due to ads and platform restrictions.

Submit your in-car stream

Provide your stream link and event details. If the embed does not load, open the form in a new tab.
