Behind the Scenes:
Big Improvements Coming to ChampCar.org
We've been busy behind the scenes!
Over the past year, we've made a lot of improvements to the ChampCar website with the goal of making it easier to use and better organized for everyone.
Some of the updates include:
🏁 A refreshed website layout with improved organization and navigation.
📰 A new News section on the homepage to make it easier to keep up with the latest announcements, race information, partner spotlights, and club updates.
📝 Updates to the registration system, with new tools being added to help our staff and accounting team work more efficiently.
👥 A completely new HR web portal that gives our staff and officials one central location for policies, procedures, forms, event information, training materials, and other resources they use throughout the season.
🗳️ A brand-new online polling and voting system designed to provide a fair and secure voting process for member elections and official voting.
We're also putting the finishing touches on our new Pit Lane & Garage Assignment system. Once your team's entry has been paid in full, your team captain will be able to log into the registration system and select your team's preferred pit lane or garage assignment (where available). The system is currently in testing and will be available soon.
Many of these changes happen quietly behind the scenes, but they help us provide a better experience for our members while making day-to-day operations more efficient for our volunteers and staff.
As always, if you run into any issues, find something that doesn't work quite right, or have ideas on how we can make the website even better, please let us know. We're always looking for ways to improve, and your feedback helps shape the future of ChampCar online.
