ChampCar Membership Remains $75 for 2027

We have good news to share: the annual ChampCar Endurance Series club membership fee will remain $75 for 2027.

Beginning January 1, 2027, ChampCar is reverting back to a calendar-year membership cycle. Every annual membership will run from January 1 through December 31, regardless of when it is purchased.

Currently, a membership is valid for one year from its purchase date. For example, a membership purchased on March 1 remains active until March 1 of the following year. Under the new system, all memberships will renew on January 1 and expire on December 31.

What current members need to know:

• All ChampCar memberships will reset to the new calendar-year cycle on January 1, 2027.

• The 2027 annual membership fee will remain $75.

• A 2027 membership will expire on December 31, 2027, regardless of when it is purchased.

• Memberships purchased after January 1 will still cost $75. There will not be prorated, partial-year, or half-year membership pricing.

We understand that this will shorten the current membership period for some members whose existing expiration date falls after January 1, 2027. We recognize that this is a significant change, and we want to give everyone advance notice so there are no surprises when the new membership year begins.

Moving everyone to one annual renewal date will give ChampCar and its members a clear, consistent membership year that aligns with the racing season. It will also make membership status easier to understand and manage throughout the year.

Beginning in 2027, the question will be simple: if you have renewed for the current calendar year, your membership is active through December 31.
