RAMN Racing - Noodles Wins a Wet and Slippery Thompson 12

Misting rain turned a pleasant Saturday into a slick and challenging 12 hours at Thompson Speedway. When the checkered flag fell, RAMN Racing - Noodles and the No. 591 Mazda Miata stood on top of the 2026 Thompson 12.

RAMN Racing Wins the 2026 ChampCar Thompson 12

What started as a pleasant overcast Saturday at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park turned into a much trickier day as misting rain moved over the circuit, leaving the track slick and putting an extra premium on patience, consistency, and car control.

After 12 hours of endurance racing, RAMN Racing - Noodles came out on top, taking the overall victory in the No. 591 2001 Mazda Miata.

Jacobsen Motorsports brought the No. 930 1999 Mazda Miata home in second place, while Honorificabilitudinitatibus completed the overall podium with its No. 692 1995 Mazda Miata.

The changing conditions added another challenge to an already demanding 12-hour race. With moisture on the racing surface, drivers had to search for grip while managing traffic, pit stops, driver changes, fuel strategy, and the mechanical demands that come with a full day of endurance racing.
