Whether you're shaking down a fresh build, dialing in suspension, bedding brakes, testing drivers, or just looking for more seat time, Rockingham Test Day is the perfect opportunity.

Schedule

7:00 AM – Gates Open

8:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Track Hot

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM – Lunch Break

1:00 PM – 5:00 PM – Track Hot

5:00 PM – 7:00 PM – BBQ in the Garage

7:00 PM – Gates Close

Cost

$400 per car

Eligible Cars

Fully caged, race-prepared vehicles are welcome, including:

1. ChampCar
2. WRL
3. 24 Hours of Lemons
4. Lucky Dog Racing
5. SCCA
6. NASA
7. And other properly prepared race cars

Driver Requirements

1. SA2015 or newer helmet required
2. Standard racing safety gear recommended

Planning to race the December 2026 ChampCar National Championship at VIR?

Bring your car to Rockingham and get valuable testing time before the biggest ChampCar event of the year.

ChampCar Tech Inspection will be available on-site, giving teams the opportunity to complete their inspection before arriving at VIR.

Spend the day turning laps, working on setup, getting your drivers comfortable, and finishing the evening with great food and great company at the garage BBQ.
