Around Town
Around Town - Ozarks International Raceway / Gravois Mills, Missouri
Welcome to Ozarks International Raceway, one of the most challenging and dramatic road courses in North America. Set in the hills of central Missouri near the Lake of the Ozarks, this is a true destination track with incredible elevation changes, big scenery, and a race weekend atmosphere that feels a little off the beaten path. Planning ahead is highly recommended.
- Track Address: 299 Monterey Road, Gravois Mills, MO 65037
- Closest Towns: Gravois Mills, Laurie, Camdenton, and Lake Ozark
- Fuel & Supplies: Basic fuel, groceries, and convenience stores are available nearby, but major shopping and supply runs are easier in Camdenton, Osage Beach, or Lake Ozark.
- Auto Parts: AutoZone, O’Reilly, NAPA, Advance Auto Parts, and marine supply stores are available in the greater Lake of the Ozarks area.
- Food: Local diners, BBQ, casual restaurants, lakefront spots, and quick food options are available throughout the area. Expect a mix of small-town Missouri favorites and tourist-season lake dining.
- Hotels & Lodging: Teams will find hotels, cabins, vacation rentals, and lake properties throughout the Lake of the Ozarks region. Booking early is strongly recommended during busy seasons.
- Airport Access: Kansas City (MCI), St. Louis (STL), and Springfield (SGF) are the most practical airport options depending on travel plans.
- Entertainment: Lake of the Ozarks offers boating, restaurants, nightlife, golf, and plenty of off-track entertainment if your crew extends the trip.
- Travel Tip: Roads in the area are scenic but slower than interstate travel, with winding two-lane highways common near the facility. Allow extra time getting to and from the track.
- Cell Service Note: Coverage can be inconsistent in parts of the region. Download maps, event info, and important links before heading in.
Local Note: Ozarks is absolutely worth the trip, but this is not an “I’ll just run to Home Depot in five minutes” kind of venue. Bring what you think you need... then bring the spare version too.
